Garena HostBot v3.2 0

This is the third host bot made for Garena. It's based of course on Varlock's job Ghost++ and GhostOne ( http://www.codelain.com/ ) but it's adapted only for Garena. It retains many of the original Ghost commands plus other specific for Garena. It has commands like !levels to show player levels, it can put restrictions on this (just like on countries) and it shows real player countries.

It's very very simple to use, it doesn't have autohost or something like that, just a Start and Stop button. It creates a game, you join it and play.

Why use a hostbot ?

• Play easier with your friends ! Add them to safelist (so they can always join your game, even if it's full), make them admins like you, hold slot for them and many more !
• Total control over your game ! (ability to kick << on vote >>, mute, swap, ban players)
• Ability to control the game latency !
• Ability to auto-save games when someone is disconnected (for a later resuming)
• And many many more

How to upgrade from v2.0 to v3.2 ? (and keep the banlist)
In your Garena HostBot v2.0 installed directory there's a file called "ghost.dbs". In that file the bans are stored. After installing Garena HostBot v3.2 copy that file to the installation directory.


Changelog (from 2.0 to 3.0):

• Fixed the problem with unknown level or country sometimes (the most time it worked but sometimes it showed unknown)
• added command !fp - to display the country and the pings of all players
• added the ability to add more admins - !addadmin - to add an admin , !checkadmin - to see if a player is an admin, !deladmin - to delete an admin. The main admin is specified in the Configurator utility. That admin can use these commands to add more admins, the other admins have access to all admin commands, except the fact they cannot add or remove admins.
• removed the "Modes" tab since mostly it didn't work - you can use !hcl to set game mode
• added the option to safelist players. Safelisted players (your friends) can join the game even if it's full (always have a reserved slot), don't get kicked on level, country, ping check and don't get auto-banned. You can add a player to your friends list (safelist) using !sla or !sladd, to see if a player is safelisted or not use !sl, to remove a player from the safelist use !slr or !sld
• added an option in the Configurator (bot_show910) that will display your created game when enabled to be almost full ! In the LAN game window your game will show up as 9/10 slots occupied or 11/12 slots (depending on map) regardless of the real player number. Turn this off and the real player number will be shown.
• !autostart can be used only in game by an admin
• "bot_lobbyannounceunoccupied" now works, set it to "1" in ghost.cfg and the message "+1" or "+2" won't appear in game lobby
• fixed !banlast ( !bl ), it now displays the game status beside the reason
• instead of the username from now you can use the players slot when using a command. For example !p 3 will ping the player in the 3'rd slot. Useful for players that have color coded names. You can use the command !test if you are unsure of the slot number, and will display the players name from that slot. Attention, DotA switch is not supported by this ! If players switch in a dota game their slot numbers don't.
• when someone resumes the game a message will be displayed and recorded in game chat
• added in Configurator a variable called "bot_startmsgdelay", it's the number of seconds when to display the start game messages (from welcome.txt) and the Garena HostBot logo.
• when an admin joins the game it is no longer placed on the 1'st slot. It has to manually use !swap command if he wants the blues slot (if he isn't already in it).
• other tweaks and changes !

• autoban works now ! (even if it's not auto-enabled Options->Page 7 to enable it and configure it! )
• fixed bug with the command !ban - now works even if the player left the game
• fixed other important issues

Note. You can view or edit your bans, the admins or the safelist players easy by going to the "Database" tab and then clock "Open database". Then select a table (admins, bans or safelisted) and view or make your changes.

Common Problem. You can join your game but others can't see it !
You need to check if your ports 6112 to 6119 are opened or forwarded. Thre's a utility that checks if your ports are opened: PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall , if they're closed Garena Host Bot won't work. If you have a router find out how to forward your ports on that site.
